#99 - Mount Dukemore

Dan and Duke are back! Duke brings us stories from Star Wars Celebration and Baltimore Comic Con and then there's some conversation about Before Watchmen: Dr. Manhattan #1 (and the Before Watchmen series in general), DC zero issues (and DC Comics in general) and Hawkeye #2.

CBP AudioBoo #39 - Avengers #199

How do you prevent World War III? Well, if you live in the Marvel Universe, you create a giant robot and tear ass through Long Island. Not only do the Avengers have to deal with an out-of-control Red Ronin, later they find a surprise mommy-to-be waiting for them back at the mansion.

CBP AudioBoo #38 - Avengers #194

Yes, it's another gap in issues from the last Boo and there will be another jump for the next recording. After that though there will be a solid 40-50 issue run of Avengery goodness. This issue sees the return of Wonder Man, the departure of the Falcon, Ms Marvel throwing some sexy vibes toward Captain America and the Vision trying a bit too hard to be all androidy.

CBP AudioBoo #37 - Avengers #191

Don't worry, you didn't miss a bunch of AudioBoos. There was a gap in the stack of comics I purchased, so we're jumping ahead a few issues to #191 where the Avengers battle the Grey Gargoyle. Later in this issue, the Grey Gargoyle battles a woman who sublet his apartment right out from under him! Even super villains are not immune to the cutthroat world of real estate.

CBP Special - New Dimension Comics LIVE!

While Duke was representing CBP at the Baltimore Comic Con, Dan and Nick from the Audioshocker podcast hung out at New Dimension Comics new location at Century III Mall for their grand re-opening sale and celebration. There was some conversation about creators rights and then our friend Jared Catherine stopped by and joined the boys for some recent comic talk.

Thanks again to New Dimension Comics and Elizabeth Bashur for hosting us and bending over backwards to make us feel at home and for filling our bellies with pizza.

CBP AudioBoo #36 - Avengers #184

In this issue, the Avengers continue to battle the Absorbing Man. Meanwhile, the Falcon makes things awkward for white people back at the mansion.

CBP AudioBoo #35 - Avengers #183

Scarlet Witch is out, Ms. Marvel is in! Iron Man empties the garbage! Captain America manages to use white guilt on The Falcon! The Absorbing Man takes the properties of Formica and people are actually impressed! This issue has it ALL!
