THE WALKING DEAD is coming to Pittsburgh
It was just announced today that Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl Grimes on AMC's hit series THE WALKING DEAD, will be making an appearance at the Pittsburgh Comicon.
(With Sam Witwer and Sarah Allen from Being Human also on the guest list, it looks like the Pitt-Con is slowly starting to reclaim a little bit of coolness.)

Free Comic Book Day!
For me, this is one of the most fun days of the year. Free Comic Book Day is in its tenth year of introducing/promoting comics to new readers and exposing existing readers to new titles or characters.
This year FCBD takes place on Saturday, May 7th. Check out FCBD's website for participating locations and to see previews of this years free comics.
If you've never taken the time to participate in FCBD, I highly suggest it. Aside from getting some free quality comic books, many times participating retailers will make a big day of it, offering additional sales/discounts, bringing in local comic creators to sign books, etc. It's a great experience for kids as well and there are usually a lot of family friendly titles available.

Daredevil sketch
This morning I discovered this neat sketching site called Odosketch. I took it for a spin and whipped out a little sketch of The Man Without Fear himself, Daredevil.
Let's see what sketches you come up with!

Comic Book Pitt #61 - Little Gamma Unit
Not only is the Duke back, but we have a new guest host, the inimitable Seth Fronzoli, aka The Fronz, aka Mini-Seth! (Apologies for the sound quality; there were some technical issues on Seth's end which is why he sounds low and we did our best to even out the audio.)
There are some reviews, we drop a few books, we discuss some disappointing titles and there is a LOT of conversation, ranging from super hero penis size to the boycotting of the upcoming Thor movie.
For fans of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, there is extra content after the outro music.
